Old West Festival

Old West Festival in Brown County

Let me introduce you to The Old West Festival! Take a trip back in time, before the light bulb or automobile, to Dodge City 1878. It was a town run by famous lawmen like Bat Masterson and Wyatt Earp. Where gamblers such as Doc Holiday played faro, and Boothill was a place you didn’t want to be at the end of the night.

The Wild West comes to life every spring at The Old West Festival. The Old West Festival will be an Old West themed festival that will be run similarly to other Wild West Festivals and Renaissance Festivals around the United States. It will be a permanent town built to celebrate the rich 19th century history of the Old West.

For 2010 the festival will be held September 11 through October 10 on Saturdays and Sundays only. http://www.oldwestfest.com/
